Bill Hall – Five String Banjo --First Generation Bluegrass Musician in New England. Bill is an accomplished bluegrass musician. Based out of Rhode Island, in the 1960’s, 70’s and 80’s Bill Hall blazed the bluegrass trail performing in his own bands for live television and radio shows, festivals, and concerts throughout the country. He is well-known for his original banjo leads and riffs, along with his distinctive lead vocals. The revised Northwind band core members includes Bill’s daughter, Debbie on bass, Fred Etheridge on lead guitar and Paul Gallup on rythmm guitar, Joe Mellet on mandolin with guest appearances from Kevin Fallon on fiddle.
