Combining robust athleticism with theatricality, Adele Myers and Dancers is a contemporary dance company based in CT and NYC. Humorous and at times unsettling, the choreography provides a female perspective about dynamics of human interaction. The mission of Adele Myers and Dancers is to transform the theater into an intimate and accessible space for the audience and the dancers into familiar individuals. In addition to rehearsing and performing, the company offers Community in Motion workshops encouraging participants to experience their bodies as vessels of strength and support. Community in Motion workshops are specifically designed to meet the needs of the participants. Classes are taught by the company members, each of whom has had extensive training and experience in their area of expertise.
