Description
Carissa Halston is a writer/performer based out of Boston. Her debut novel, A Girl Named Charlie Lester, was honorably mentioned at the 2008 New York Book Festival. Her storytelling tour, Portraiture, collected the best of her short work written between 2002 and 2009 and was performed in Boston, New York, Philadelphia, St. Louis, and Toronto in September of 2009. She has been twice-nominated for the Pushcart Prize and is currently at work on her second novel.
