Residency and Outreach Activities

Roots of Rhythm Dance is a program that integrates elements of music and dance from West African to Early Jazz Vernacular. Lecture demonstrations and performances of jazz tap for all ages is also available.

Awards

Recieved a Individual Artist Fellowship from the NH State Council on the Arts as well as a grant from Arts Build Community! funded by the Lila Wallace Readers Digest Fund and numerous grants from Greater Piscataqua Community Foundation.

Education/Training

Extensive training with master jazz tap artists and musicians. Recieved scholarships to attend and participate in residencies at the Colorado Dance Festival '86, '90, and '92. Studies include West African and Afro-Cuban. BA International Studies
